See which rotations are struggling to side out, then open the rallies behind the result.
Know your team.

Stats aren't the same as answers.
A box score tells you the result. Coaching starts with the next question: where are we getting stuck, what changed, and what should we work on now?
When we pass better, are we turning those chances into points?
Replay the sequence behind a scoring run instead of relying on memory alone.
Capture. Understand. Coach.
A clearer read on the match.
While it still matters.
You shouldn’t need a season of data to learn something useful. Match Snapshot brings the score, rotations, key results, and recorded runs into one place—then lets you open the rallies behind them.

Learn from match one.
Open Snapshot during the match or review it afterward. You don’t need a backlog of past matches to begin seeing what deserves attention.
See the rallies behind the number.
Follow a scoring run, compare rotation opportunities, or see what happened after different kinds of reception.
Take a question back to the court.
Use what you find to focus a conversation, choose what to work on, or watch for it again in the next match.
Explore the live view and supporting rallies
Start in Capture, open Match Snapshot from its menu, then follow a supporting-rally link when an observation needs a closer look. These development screens show separate sample scenarios, not a continuous recording of one match.
Check the match in progress.
This current report view keeps a small recorded sample visible. Snapshot shows the score and available results, with “Very low sample” and “No data” where a stronger conclusion would be premature.

Rally Explorer shows the sequence and the match context around it. This separate multi-match sample demonstrates the report surface; it is not the evidence for the match pictured above.

You don't have a stats department.
You're watching serve receive, managing substitutions, tracking rotations, coaching the next point—and somehow collecting useful data too. Vollometry is designed for that reality.
Keep watching the court. Capture without making the screen your whole focus.
Keep working when Wi‑Fi doesn’t. Record the match and review its core story from data saved on the device.
Fix mistakes quickly. Correct a capture without losing match flow.
Keep volleyball context attached. Rotation, lineup, player, score, skill, and rally stay connected.
Give the next practice
a purpose.
Carry a question from the match into a coaching focus. Link it to practice. Revisit it as more matches are recorded. Focused evaluation can also help you explore roles and establish a starting point before match history exists.
Help shape this directionKnow when a pattern deserves attention—
and when you need more data.
Four receiving rallies are not a season-long verdict. Vollometry shows the opportunities behind a result and lets you inspect the supporting rallies. Use the pattern as a question to investigate, not an automatic answer.
Questions coaches may have.
Who is Vollometry for?
Vollometry is being built first for club and school coaches who need useful information while they are still actively watching and coaching the match. Assistant coaches, program leaders, and team statisticians can use the same shared context.
Is it only for match statistics?
No. The larger direction connects match capture, practice evaluation, team discovery, coaching focus, and development over time.
Do I need past matches for Match Snapshot?
No. Snapshot can begin with the match you’re recording, including a match in progress. More history can add context later.
Does Snapshot tell me why we won or lost?
It helps you see what happened and inspect the supporting rallies. Your knowledge of the team still matters when deciding why it happened and what to do next.
Are team benchmarks available?
Not yet. Privacy-safe aggregate comparisons are a longer-term direction. Joining this mailing list does not authorize sharing team or player performance data.
When will it be available?
Vollometry is still in development. Join the early-access list for occasional updates and opportunities to test it with your team.
What data does this website collect?
Early access asks for email, your intended app platform, and consent; coaching and language questions are optional. The terminology form accepts wording suggestions. We also use limited operational data for security and aggregate counts. Please do not submit athlete information. Read the privacy page.
